Overview of Online CMS (Content Management System) Platforms - Part I

by Hawke last modified 2008-09-20 01:36

I have been using various online Content Management Systems since the 90's. They have certainly come a long way from those primitive days, but of course, they still have a long way to go too. Here I will discuss my overall experience with difference CMS's including the various *Nuke and php-based, Python-based Zope (and later Zope/Plone), Broadvision, Silverstream, and others over the years as a comparison. Maybe these experiences and insights, will help those who are trying to find the right CMS platform for their needs.
